It is further our mission to remain a business that operates and cooperates well with the business community is serves and resides.
History
Old Town Praline has been in business since 1935. We are very proud of the fact that 5 generation of the family has served our customers over these many years. Old Town was located at 627 Royal Street in the french quarter for nearly 70 years. Living above the business at that location gave us a wonderful way to meet and serve both locals and tourists. In fact, we now serve the grandchildren of many of the folks we met there from all over and, we look forward to serving them and their children. Perhaps the most important thing we can tell you about our history is that our praline recipe has never changed and that our work ethic is as strong as it was from day one.
When our great-grandmother saw to it that we spent time as children in the store on Royal St. I believe she knew that someday Old Town would be in our hands. She taught us well just how important taking care of our customers’ needs was to our family business. Our history is long as we think proof that quality products, hard work, ad customer care will be as important to our company future as it was in the past. We look forward to making your candies and second line umbrellas for you!

We’re also proud to say that we have been featured on the Al Roker Travel Show, in the NEW YORK TIMES, USA Today, The Gambit, L.A. Times, and just recently in the New Orleans Magazine. Among the memorabilia on our walls is a letter from Cecil B. DeMille telling us how much he enjoyed our pralines on his train ride back to Hollywood!
Return Policy
Customer has 24 hours from proof of delivery to make any claims on damaged items. All damaged items must be post marked for return within 24 hours of claim being filled. All Second Line Umbrella’s and Second Line Handkerchiefs are nonrefundable, nonexchangeable. Customer pays return shipping and handling.
